Aptos Majors Astros are the 2025 Majors District 39 Champions

2025 Tournament of Champions

The District 39 Little League Tournament of Champions (TOC) is a prestigious postseason event that brings together the top-performing teams from various local leagues within California’s District 39. Serving as a culmination of the regular season, the TOC offers young athletes an opportunity to compete at a higher level and showcase their skills against the best in the district.

What Is the Tournament of Champions?

The TOC is a double-elimination tournament featuring the champions of the AAA (Minors) and Majors divisions from each local league in District 39. Participating leagues include Aptos, Santa Cruz, Scotts Valley, Live Oak, Capitola-Soquel, Pajaro Valley, and San Lorenzo Valley. Each league’s playoff winners earn the right to represent their league in the TOC, making it a highly anticipated event that celebrates excellence and sportsmanship.

2025 TOC Schedule & Locations

For the 2025 season, the TOC is scheduled as follows:

Minor (AAA) TOC: June 8–15, hosted by San Lorenzo Valley Little League. AAA Bracket here.

Tournament Structure & Rules

The TOC operates under a double-elimination format, ensuring that teams have more than one opportunity to compete and advance. This structure promotes competitive balance and allows for exciting comebacks. Participation in the TOC is a significant achievement for young athletes, offering them a chance to experience high-stakes competition and develop their skills further. The tournament fosters a sense of community pride, as local supporters rally behind their teams. The Majors Astros and the AAA Braves earned the title of 2025 Aptos Little League Champions, each capping off their seasons with strong performances and well-deserved victories in their respective divisions. Both teams demonstrated grit, teamwork, and skill throughout the playoffs and will now proudly represent Aptos Little League in the 2025 District 39 Tournament of Champions (TOC). This prestigious postseason event brings together the top teams from local leagues across the district, and we’re excited to cheer on the Astros and Braves as they take the field against the best of the best.



The AAA Aptos Braves will begin their Tournament of Champions journey on Sunday, June 8th with their first game against Capitola Soquel Little League. The game is scheduled for 1:00 PM and will take place at San Lorenzo Valley Little League. We wish the Braves the best of luck as they represent Aptos Little League on the district stage!

The Majors Aptos Astros will kick off their Tournament of Champions run on Sunday, June 8th with a matchup against Santa Cruz Little League. The game is set for 4:00 PM and will be held at Live Oak Little League. We’re proud to have the Astros representing Aptos and look forward to a great game as they compete among the district’s best.



TOC Updates

MAJORS: June 8th 2025 Astros 15 vs Santa Cruz 2: Majors Yankees Stymied By Astros Aptos Majors 25

Majors Yankees couldn't keep up with Astros Aptos Majors 25 and fell 15-2 on Sunday at 966 Bostwick Ln.

Astros Aptos Majors 25 got on the board in the top of the first inning after Cruz B singled, scoring one run, Ethan C doubled, scoring one run, and Denali O singled, scoring two runs.

Astros Aptos Majors 25 scored seven runs on six hits in the top of the third inning. Tysen E singled, scoring one run, Cruz doubled, scoring one run, Denali drew a walk, scoring one run, Jaxon B doubled, scoring two runs, and Joseph R singled, scoring two runs.

Jackson O stepped on the bump first for Majors Yankees. The starter gave up nine hits and 10 runs over two innings, striking out three and walking four. Tysen stepped on the mound first for Astros Aptos Majors 25. The hurler gave up one hit and one run over three innings, striking out six and walking one.

Brady N and Nathan W were tough to handle back-to-back in the lineup, as each drove in one run for Majors Yankees. Majors Yankees were sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Easton M made the most plays with six.

Astros Aptos Majors 25 tallied 15 hits in the game. Cruz led Astros Aptos Majors 25 with three hits in three at bats. Denali and Cruz each drove in three runs for Astros Aptos Majors 25. Ryan S, Ethan, and Tysen each collected multiple hits for Astros Aptos Majors 25. Astros Aptos Majors 25 were sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Ethan had the most chances in the field with seven.



AAA: June 8, 2025 AAA Braves 9 vs Capitola Soquel 8: CSLL AAA GIANTS Fall To Braves Aptos AAA 25 On Walk-Off

CSLL AAA GIANTS fell to Braves Aptos AAA 25 9-8 on Sunday at 7105 Highway 9 Felton on the final play of the game. The game was tied at eight in the bottom of the sixth when RJ C doubled, scoring one run.

CSLL AAA GIANTS lost despite out-hitting Braves Aptos AAA 25 13 to eight. Joseph W, Raz S, David C, Luke R, and Deacon M each collected two hits for CSLL AAA GIANTS.

CSLL AAA GIANTS opened the scoring in the first after a passed ball scored one run.

Braves Aptos AAA 25 made the score 3-1 in the bottom of the first after Levi M doubled, scoring two runs, and Aiden S singled, scoring one run.

CSLL AAA GIANTS flipped the game on its head in the top of the fourth, scoring five runs on five hits to take the lead, 8-5. The biggest blow in the inning was a single by David that drove in one.

Aiden singled to right field, which helped Braves Aptos AAA 25 tie the game at eight in the bottom of the fifth.

Luke started on the mound for CSLL AAA GIANTS. The pitcher gave up two hits and three runs over two innings, striking out three and walking two. Aiden started on the bump for Braves Aptos AAA 25. The hurler gave up eight hits and six runs (four earned) over three innings, striking out four and walking one.

CSLL AAA GIANTS collected 13 hits in the game. David, the number eight hitter for CSLL AAA GIANTS, led the way with two runs batted in. The right fielder went 2-for-3 on the day.

Levi led Braves Aptos AAA 25 with two runs batted in. The right-handed hitter went 2-for-3 on the day. Levi, Gunner C, and Aiden each collected two hits for Braves Aptos AAA 25. Nate W stole two bases. Braves Aptos AAA 25 were sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. RJ had the most chances in the field with nine.




AAA June 10th 2025 AAA Santa Cruz Little League Angels Victorious Over Braves Aptos AAA 25

AAA Angels outsted Braves Aptos AAA 25 7-5 on Tuesday at 7105 CA-9.

AAA Angels opened the scoring in the first after Carter G grounded out, scoring two runs.

Braves Aptos AAA 25 tied the game in the bottom of the first thanks to a wild pitch, and a single by Brandon S.

AAA Angels took the lead in the top of the third inning after Carter singled to center field, Braves Aptos AAA 25 committed an error, and , each scoring one run.

Luke M pitched three and one-third innings in relief for AAA Angels. The hurler surrendered five hits and two runs (one earned) while, striking out four and walking none. Carter stepped on the hill first for AAA Angels. The right-handed pitcher surrendered two hits and three runs (one earned) over two and two-thirds innings, striking out five and walking two. Nate W stepped on the mound first for Braves Aptos AAA 25. The pitcher gave up two hits and two runs over one inning, striking out one and walking four.

Zachary O went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead AAA Angels in hits. Carter, Gavin F, and Adam M each drove in one run for AAA Angels. Elijah F and Aaron P each stole multiple bases for AAA Angels. AAA Angels stole seven bases in the game. AAA Angels turned one double play in the game.

Thomas C and Aiden S each collected two hits for Braves Aptos AAA 25. Thomas, Brandon, and Gunner C each drove in one run for Braves Aptos AAA 25. Aiden stole two bases.

MAJORS June 11, 2025 Aptos Astros- 12 Scotts Valley- 0

On Wednesday, June 11, the Aptos Majors Astros delivered a dominant performance in the Tournament of Champions, defeating Scotts Valley Little League with an impressive 12–0 shutout victory. The team played sharp on both sides of the ball, combining strong pitching, solid defense, and explosive offense to secure the win. With that victory, the Astros advance to their next game on Saturday, June 14, where they will face Capitola Soquel Little League at 4:00 PM. The game will be hosted by Live Oak Little League, as the Astros continue their exciting run in the 2025 District 39 Tournament of Champions.


AAA June 11, 2025 Aptos Braves-7 Live Oak- 8

On Wednesday, June 11, the Aptos AAA Braves played a hard-fought game against Live Oak Little League in the Tournament of Champions, ultimately falling short in a close 7–8 loss.  With this result, the Braves’ journey in the 2025 District 39 Tournament of Champions comes to an end. Though the season concludes here, the team should be incredibly proud of their accomplishments, earning the title of Aptos Little League AAA Champions and representing the league with heart, effort, and sportsmanship at every step.


MAJORS June  14, 2025 Aptos Astros-4 CSLL  Rangers-2 Depite Multiple Home Runs From JUSTUS C, CSLL MAJORS RANGERS Defeated By Aptos Astros
JUSTUS C hit two home runs and drove in two, but CSLL MAJORS RANGERS lost to Aptos Astros 4-2 on Saturday at Green Acres Elementary School. JUSTUS homered in the first and third innings.

CSLL MAJORS RANGERS lost despite out-hitting Aptos Astros eight to five. Jacob H led CSLL MAJORS RANGERS with three hits.

CSLL MAJORS RANGERS were the first to get on the board in the first when JUSTUS hit a solo home run to center field.

CSLL MAJORS RANGERS committed an error, which helped Aptos Astros tie the game at one in the top of the second.

CSLL MAJORS RANGERS took the lead in the bottom of the third. JUSTUS hit a solo home run to center field, to give CSLL MAJORS RANGERS the leg up, 2-1.

J K grounded out, which helped Aptos Astros tie the game at two in the top of the fourth.

In the top of the fifth inning, Aptos Astros went back into the lead after N M grounded into a fielder's choice, and J B singled down the right field line, each scoring one run.

Enzo R pitched four innings in relief for CSLL MAJORS RANGERS. The righty surrendered four hits and three runs (two earned) while, striking out five and walking none. JUSTUS began the game for CSLL MAJORS RANGERS. The righty allowed one hit and one run (zero earned) over two innings, striking out two and walking two. T E stepped on the mound first for Aptos Astros. The starting pitcher gave up six hits and two runs over three innings, striking out seven and walking none.

J, J, and N each drove in one run for Aptos Astros. J led Aptos Astros with two hits in two at bats.
