Spring 2026 Registration Opens October 26, 2025.
We’re excited to announce that Spring 2026 Aptos Little League registration will open on Sunday, October 26, 2025, in recognition of Aptos Little League Day.
Aptos Little League Day was officially proclaimed on October 26, 2002, by the California State Legislature to honor the 2002 Aptos All-Star team, who made history by advancing to the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. Their incredible season, later featured in the PBS documentary Small Ball: A Little League Story, inspired generations of local players and remains a proud part of our league’s history.
Opening registration on this date is our way of celebrating that legacy and carrying it forward into another exciting season. We invite all families to join us in keeping the spirit of Aptos baseball alive: where teamwork, community, and love for the game come together.

Why Register Your Child for Spring 2026 Aptos Little League Baseball
A legacy of success that continues today
From the World Series stage in 2002 to the NorCal tournaments of 2025, Aptos Little League continues to compete with heart and pride. Our history is strong, but our focus is on the players stepping up to the plate right now.
A balanced program for every player
We welcome all skill levels and create an environment where players can grow, gain confidence, and discover what it means to be part of a team.
A community that invests in its kids
Parents, coaches, and local sponsors work together to make every season possible. Their dedication keeps our fields maintained, our equipment updated, and our coaching staff supported.
Tradition with purpose
When your child joins Aptos Little League, they become part of a tradition that values teamwork, respect, and perseverance. They carry forward the same community pride that has shaped this league for decades.
Lessons that last a lifetime
Baseball teaches far more than how to swing a bat or throw a ball. It builds confidence, resilience, and friendships that often last well beyond the season.
2026 Volunteer Requirements
Aptos Little League is built on the time and support of our families. Each season, every family is expected to have at least one volunteer to help keep our league running. There are many ways to contribute- from the score booth and snack shack to coaching, team parent duties, or field prep.
For the safety of our players, all volunteers are required to complete the official Little League Volunteer Application and background check each year, regardless of their role. This includes anyone who helps on the field, in the dugout, or in any volunteer position.
Please keep this in mind as you register your child for the season, and make sure your family’s designated volunteer completes the background check process early. This ensures a safe and smooth start for all players and teams.
Together, we make Aptos Little League a great experience for every player.
